Why won't it let me log into MyChart? ›

If you try to log in unsuccessfully too many times, you might be locked out of the account. In this case, you won't be able to reset your password yourself. For help resetting passwords and regaining access to your account, please reach out to your healthcare organization's MyChart support desk.

If you forgot both your username and password, start with the username first. You will be prompted to answer some security questions to verify your identity so you can recover your username or password. If you still need help, contact your healthcare organization's MyChart support.

Most likely, you have tried to access your MyChart account 5 times in a row using the wrong password. If you do this, for security purposes, your account is disabled. If your account becomes disabled, you should call 740-454-5008.

What happened? We aim to protect your privacy and information. If you remain idle for 10 minutes or more after you log in to MyChart, you will be automatically logged out. We recommend that you log out of MyChart if you need to leave your computer for even a short period of time.

Hints on your password

Your password is different than your MyChart username. It is also case sensitive and must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one number, and one letter.

What happens when you deactivate MyChart? ›

Deactivation does not affect information already in your MyChart account; however, the information will no longer be available to send, receive, or access any additional information.

If you're having trouble logging in, click the “Forgot Username?” or “Forgot Password?” link below the login fields for assistance. You will go through two-step verification to verify your identity so you can recover your username or password.

If you have an email address on file then your MyChart Username will be sent to your email account. If you do not remember any of this information, or you do not have a valid email address on file, you must call MyChart Technical Support at 216.444.1740 or toll-free at 1.866.915.3383 for assistance.

My activation code does not work. What should I do? For your security, your activation code expires after a set period of time and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. If you still have problems call our MyChart Patient Support Line at 855-513-5513.

MyChart works best on up to date browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. You can download several of these browsers for free.

Test results in MyChart

In line with California law, some radiology, pathology and genetic test results won't be available in MyChart until five days after they're finalized. These time frames allow your care provider to review results before they're posted.

At the top of the MyChartPLUS signup page, the patient will see Invalid personal information in red. This typically happens when a patient has the incorrect birthdate or has moved, and their address is not correct in HHC's instance of Epic. Verify the patient's date of birth and address is correct.
