I just want to make an appointment. Not discussion. An appointment at a local Apple store. Your website isn't user friendly and I'm always having trouble with this exact thing. Please send me the direct link, NOT DISCUSSION, to schedule an appointment.

Thank you

The main decider is whether your issue is Hardware-Related, because that is the main expertise of the Genius Bar technicians.

Genius Bar technicians are really good at working on Mac Hardware. They put their hands on these machines all day every day. MacOS and software issues? Not so much.

Appointments were stretching out in the future for many weeks. Too many. So Apple decided that they needed to refine exactly what issues are candidates for Genius Bar.

If you followed the questions and read the articles, Software-Related issues will NOT lead you a Genius Bar appointment, because it would waste your time and the technician would not be able to help you.

If you don't want to discuss your issues here, you should use this link to get support .

This does NOT help at all. I tried this. Have wasted the last 3 hours trying to find how to get a Genius Bar appointment since phone is not working right - CANNOT send or receive messages, internet problem keeping me from looking anything up (I had to come to a library to access internet) even though my carrier says internet is not the issue, that my phone itself is the problem and has to be taken to an Apple store to be checked. I am Deaf and these problems prevent me from being able to access my Sorenson phone sign language interpreter service app on BOTH phone and computer, thus I canNOT call anyone or even do a texting chat. My mom's phone is having the same problem (I am responsible for my 87 year old mom and MUST have ability for us to reach each other). So, like the person who asked, "WHY does Apple make it impossible to JUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?!" I'm angry because I have an EIGHTY SEVEN year old mom who NEEDS to be able to reach me if a problem comes up for her and I NEED to be able to maintain ability to contact her as well. If something happens to her and I don't know about it because she can't reach me and I can't check on her, Apple WILL be hearing from me about this again! I've tried to get through to Apple genius bar online multiple times (since I can't call) to just make an appointment online. Apple's website is NOT user friendly for this. My carrier told me it would have to be an in-person meeting to deal with this since there is NO possible way to do so otherwise. I do also need Apple's sign language interpreter service for the meeting.

Apple is not here, we're just users like you and do not have access to Apple Corporation's inner workings.
